ph3Overview /h3pWithin Operations, in the Investment and Engineering Group, the Process and Machinery Engineering Manager has responsibility to analyze and validate the project proposals received from affiliates/plants at international level.
/ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliEstablish regular follow-up activities aimed at ensuring proper project execution; /liliMaintain the main machinery database of all affiliates; /liliLiaise with internal customers (affiliates), understanding their needs; /liliCommunicate and coordinate with local teams, plant managers and other involved functions; /liliAssist local teams in the management and resolution of issues by providing guidance and transferring knowledge from other plants; /liliIdentify best practices to be adopted at group level by extended benchmarking on specific and critical processes/methods.
/liliDefining main technical characteristics of equipment necessary to implement the investments supporting Prysmian strategy; /liliDefining timing and budget of the projects to be evaluated/approved; /liliCoordinating all the steps from project definition to commissioning and start-up of equipment; /liliSupporting all affiliates in solving issues on process and machinery.
/li /ulh3Who we are looking for (Qualifications) /h3ulliAt least seven to ten years of professional experience in a technical role (technology or manufacturing), preferably in the Industrial sector.
Training will be provided if necessary.
/liliMechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree required /liliEnglish proficiency and Italian mother tongue /liliCAD design experience is a plus /liliOn-field (plant) experience is a plus /liliGood communication, negotiation and teamwork skills.
