Sr.
Manager to join our dynamic team in Bologna, Italy.
The role is an individual contributor responsible for driving the planning, execution, and successful delivery of digital platform initiatives—Compass AI, Writer AI, SiteScope, Workato, UiPath, Power Automate, and Cursor—while managing scope, schedule, resources, risks, and dependencies across cross?functional teams.
The Project Manager will act as the central coordination point for stakeholder communication, governance cadences, and executive?level status reporting, supporting Vertiv's Operational Excellence and Customer Focus strategic priorities.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liOwn end?to?end delivery management for Digital platform initiatives, ensuring on?time, in?scope delivery of Compass AI, Writer AI, SiteScope, Workato, UiPath, Power Automate, and Cursor.
/li liServe as the central coordination point for cross?functional stakeholders, establishing governance cadences, meeting rhythms, and executive?level status reporting to maintain alignment and decision velocity.
/li liLead or support global roll?outs of Digital platform initiatives, coordinating regional best practices, phased deployment plans,
and change?management activities to ensure consistent adoption and operational readiness.
/li liDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, delivery roadmaps, and milestone trackers aligned with Digital organization priorities and business strategy.
/li liProactively identify, elevate, and resolve project risks, blockers, and dependencies, maintaining risk registers and driving mitigation plans to closure.
/li liDefine and track project KPIs covering adoption, delivery velocity, quality, and user experience, producing regular status reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.
/li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Education /h3 pBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
/p h3Experience /h3 p8+ years of project management experience in technology or digital delivery environments, with demonstrated experience managing cross?functional, multi?regional projects and diverse stakeholder groups.
Experience with software platform deployments, UAT coordination, and change management.
Familiarity with enterprise digital platforms (iPaaS, RPA, AI/ML, or SaaS tools) preferred.
/p h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liProficiency with project management tools (Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
/li liExperience with Agile and/or hybrid delivery methodologies.
/li liFamiliarity with CI/CD delivery environments and software development lifecycles.
/li liStrong skills in executive reporting, risk management,
and stakeholder communication.
/li liWorking knowledge of enterprise platforms such as Workato, UiPath, Power Automate, or similar.
/li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liPMP, PMI?ACP, or equivalent project management certification.
/li liExperience managing global roll?outs or coordination.
/li liAgile/Scrum certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent).
/li liFamiliarity with IT Security and compliance requirements for enterprise software deployments.
/li /ul h3Working Conditions /h3 pPrimary Work Location: Italy, EMEA.
/p h3Compensation /h3 pThe anticipated salary range for this role in the Milano locality is between €67,898 to €84,872 gross per year.
Salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary.
