Our client is accelerating its transformation into a technology-driven mobility company, with software, connectivity, and digital services playing a central role in delivering innovative customer experiences across our global vehicle portfolio.

As a Technical Product Manager for Connected Vehicle Data within the Software Organization, you will support the development, vision and roadmap of multiple products relying on different vehicle data streams & solutions, and you’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations for enabling services and features on demand.

You will be working closely with cross-functional product and business stakeholders to ensure the platform supports their features and is easily adaptable to future customer needs. You will effectively be the “Product CEO”. We are looking for a world class product leader, creative-thinker and innovator to join our high-performing leadership team to shape the future.

Job responsibilities:

- Establishes and owns the vision and strategic priorities for connected vehicle data with inputs from vehicle brands and other internal stakeholders.
- Own and maintain the connected vehicle data product backlog, ensuring product features, user stories, milestones, and dependencies are accurately defined, prioritized, and tracked throughout the development lifecycle.
- Translate business, customer, regulatory, and system requirements into clear product requirements , user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature documentation aligned with client's product management processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with Product, System Engineering, Architecture, Software, Validation, Quality, Program Management,



and external suppliers to ensure feature readiness and successful execution.
- Drive backlog refinement and governance activities within JIRA and related product management tools , maintaining traceability between customer-facing features, product features, execution work items, and vehicle program milestones.
- Support Connected vehicle Data feature planning , including onboard and cloud, and future data collection initiatives.
- Monitor changes, new requirements, regulatory evolutions, and program impacts, ensuring that product roadmaps and backlog priorities remain aligned with business and vehicle program objectives.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment, resolve ambiguities and requirement gaps , and support product decision-making across multiple organizations and vehicle programs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of product management practices , backlog governance, feature definition standards, documentation quality, and requirement management processes across the Connected vehicle Data Product Management organization.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of overall experience with 3+ years of experience in product management/leading cross-functional areas with focus on Automotive data collection (connected services) and/or Automotive HW/SW components – especially telematics, radio units and other ECUs. (Additional experience if other areas in Automotive domain)
- Experience in Agile methodologies, product management, systems engineering, requirements management, software development, and connected vehicle technologies.
- Strong understanding of product backlog management,



feature decomposition, user story creation, and requirements traceability.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments involving engineering, quality, validation, and program teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, Customer-obsessed and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional proficiency in English.
- Strong business acumen with proven product category growth experience.
- Passionate about automotive and mobility

Nice to have:

- Master’s in technology or management
- Prior product management experience with Automotive data collection (connected services), CAN data, Software product management, Data analytics, Cloud connectivity, and/or Automotive HW/SW components – especially telematics, radio units and other ECUs.
- Prior experience in connected vehicle services development
- Prior experience working directly with agile software product development teams
- Strong understanding of the agile manifesto
- Strong knowledge of connected vehicle services product management
- Knowledge of xOTA challenges and best practices
- Knowledge of vehicle EE architecture and protocols, and competitive landscape of connected services
- Recognized Agile Certifications
- Knowledge of agile platforms like JIRA, IBM RTC

Employment Terms & Compensation

- Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote). HQ Turin.
- Compensation: The opportunity is open to freelance professionals, with a reference daily rate of 280-310€/day
