Role Description This full-time Recycling Sorter role is an on-site position based in Lugo.

The Recycling

Sorter is responsible for safely sorting and separating recyclable materials such as paper, plastics, metals, and glass on a conveyor line or at designated sorting stations. Day-to-day tasks include visually inspecting materials, removing contaminants, and placing items into the correct containers according to established categories and quality standards. The role involves operating basic equipment, keeping the work area clean, following safety procedures, and reporting any equipment issues or hazards to a supervisor.

The Recycling

Sorter works as part of a team to meet productivity targets and support efficient recycling operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess the ability to follow instructions, apply sorting criteria accurately, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should possess basic physical fitness, including the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move materials safely,



and work in industrial or warehouse settings.
- Candidates should possess strong awareness of workplace safety practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to facility safety guidelines.
- Candidates should possess reliable time management skills, including punctuality, consistent attendance, and the ability to meet daily production goals.
- Candidates should possess effective teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and colleagues and support a respectful, inclusive work environment.
- Candidates should ideally have prior experience in recycling, waste management, warehouse, or general labor roles, though entry-level applicants are welcome.
- Candidates should possess the ability to learn and apply company procedures; basic reading and numeracy skills are required, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
