Mercor is hiring experienced music producers and audio engineers to evaluate generative music AI models, in partnership with a leading AI lab. You will assess AI-generated music across a wide range of genres and rate it against detailed quality standards, working in Italian and English. Compare AI-generated songs head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy Native or near-native proficiency in Italian, and the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English ~2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer ~ Formal training in music performance, theory,



or composition Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work Broad familiarity with contemporary Italian genres, sub-genres, and artists Project Timeline Start date: immediate Commitment: flexible.

Most experts work around 20 hours per week; there is no cap Compensation: this role is currently paid hourly. The pay structure may move to per-task during the project; if it does, your effective hourly rate will stay the same.
