We are now looking for a **commercially minded International Business Consultant** to join our team in Milan, supporting Norwegian companies with business development and growth in the Italian market. **Responsibilities**: - Identify and promote business opportunities in Italy for Norwegian companies
- Build strong networks and relationships with relevant Italian industry stakeholders
- Act as a sparring partner for Norwegian companies entering or growing in the Italian market
- Provide market insight, strategic advice, and hands-on business development support
- Conduct and publish market updates, and contribute to events, webinars, and meetings
- Plan and accompany delegations,



company visits and trade fairs
- Collaborate closely with Innovation Norway teams in Norway and internationally
- Engage actively with Team Norway in Italy, including the Norwegian Embassy, the Norwegian Seafood Council, and relevant clusters and competence centres Core industries in Italy are _energy, green maritime, food and seafood_, and _aerospace and defence_. We also place strong emphasis on _circular economy, agri-tech, beauty & cosmetics_, as well as _sustainable tourism_. Experience and competence within one or more of these areas will be an advantage. **Qualifications**: - Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- At least three years of consultancy, business development, or export promotion experience
- Strong knowledge and network within Italian business and industry
- Proven ability to work commercially, identify opportunities and drive business growth
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with or for international companies or governmental business support organisations is a plus
- Knowledge of Norwegian business culture or language is an advantage but not a requirement **Personal qualities**: - Strategic and commercial mindset
