Project Scope of Work

Located proximity 20 km to the east of the Gulf line and approximately 12 km Southwest of the existing Safaniyah GOSP-1 facility, the objective of this Budget Item is to provide water supply from three (3) sources; the existing Safaniyah GOSP-1, the new Zuluf AH Central Processing Facility (CPF), and Jaladi aquifer water for the purpose of treatment and injection. The facility will process 1,400MBCD of water for injection to cover the production forecast up to 2035; to ultimately maintain the existing Safaniyah Field’s Maximum Sustainable Capability (MSC). In addition, the scope will expand water facilities in Safaniyah GOSP-1 to accommodate the surplus produced water that exceeds the overall existing formation water system capacity up to year 2035

Job Purpose The role of the Cost Engineer provides advisory support to the project management team related to all the cost related activities. The candidate will act as the interface between the Business Team and the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

- CAPEX Planning:



Prepared comprehensive capital expenditure (CAPEX) plans and operational expenditure forecasts.
- Budget Tracking & Variance Analysis: Tracked actual project costs against approved budgets to monitor varances.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitored and optimized monthly and annual cash flows for the division.
- Change Order Management: Evaluated, and supported change order requests, ensuring timely approval and accurate cost adjustments.
- Contractor Payment Administration: Collaborated with the contracting team to process and verify retention releases and advance payment requests from contractors.
- Invoice Processing & Compliance: Reviewed and processed contractor invoices and payment certificates, ensuring strict adherence to contract terms, internal regulations, and supporting documentation requirements.
- Financial Record Keeping: Developed and maintained a comprehensive invoice log.
- Accruals & Reconciliation: Calculated monthly project accruals and reconciled them against actual invoices to ensure reporting accuracy .

- Updating Capital Dashboard

Requirements Educational & Technical Requirements:

- Aramco SAP system , Capital Dashboard , EPM , e- market place, Power BI
- Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline
- 5-10 years experience in the Cost Management field. 3 years minimum on Saudi Aramco Projects.
- Capacity of analysis and skills for desktop application
- Good knowledge of English, both written and verbal
- Mega Capital Projects experience preferred
