ALTEC is seeking a candidate to fill the role of Bid Specialist within the Business Development, Sales & Contracts organizational unit.

The Bid

Specialist supports the preparation, coordination, and submission of technical and commercial proposals for programs and contracts in the space sector, while also collaborating across departments with the Engineering, Program Management, Finance, and Procurement teams.

The Bid

Specialist helps ensure the quality, compliance, and timely delivery of proposals for institutional and commercial clients, such as the Italian Space Agency, the European Space Agency, the European Union Agency for the Space Program, prime contractors, and industry operators.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the management of the entire bid preparation process.
- Analyze Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and bid requirements.
- Review and consolidate the bid documentation,



ensuring that it is complete and compliant.
- Track deadlines and keep the work plans for bidding activities up to date.
- Oversee the layout, proofreading, and formal quality of documents to be submitted to the client.
- Support the development of cost estimates, schedules, and the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Manage document archives, templates, and lessons learned.
- Participate in internal reviews and activities aimed at the continuous improvement of proposal management processes.
- Support Gate’s internal process, from the presentation of the opportunity to its Bid/No Bid evaluation by the proposal team and follow-up on the proposal’s development.
- Support the proposal team in developing the best bid strategy.
