- Is an excellent classroom practitioner
- Has the confidence and capability to deputise for the Headteacher
- Understands children’s emotional and behavioural welfare
- Can develop supportive and professional pastoral relationships with children, staff and families
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is a team player and has a good sense of humour
