Within the Group Reinsurance unit in the Group Head Office we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.

In particular, the selected candidate will be part of the P&C; treaty underwriting stream that has the main responsibility to finalize and manage the reinsurance inward treaties. The selected candidate will join a team that closely interacts and collaborate with other Group Functions, Group Business Units, reinsurers and brokers.





Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Underwrite P&C; treaty reinsurance from Group Business Units according to the internal evaluation and the market conditions;
- Identify Group Business Units reinsurance needs and participate in the process of setting up and evaluating new reinsurance solutions, in collaboration with other Group Reinsurance functions;
- Manage treaty renewal and administration;
- Collaborate with other Group Reinsurance functions to offer advice and guidance on the drafting of new treaty wording, as well as the revision of existing ones;
- Evaluate the technical performance of reinsurance treaties in the portfolio and define any corrective actions to maintain profitability.

Requirements include:
- Master’s degree (or currently completing) in Economics, Statistics, Engineering or related fields;
- Strong academic background with interest in insurance/reinsurance or P&C; topics;
- Good knowledg
