About the team and the role:
This role supports core accounting and financial planning activities for assigned legal entities, business units, and profit or cost centers. You will contribute to accurate financial reporting, monthly and annual close processes, budgeting and forecasting, and Italian electronic invoicing compliance. Working closely with the Accounting Manager and cross-functional,
international collaborators, you will also help strengthen internal controls and improve finance processes.
What you'll accomplish
Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks, making sure that journal entries and account reconciliations are completed with high precision.
Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and account reviews for assigned areas with strict attention to detail.
Validate accounting assumptions and financial information in collaboration with the Accounting Manager and business collaborators.
Maintain a working knowledge of financial systems, processes, and data structures.
Participate in the monthly financial close for assigned legal entities, business units, profit or cost centers.
Assist in preparing the annual budget and monthly forecast updates, offering financial analysis and insights to aid business planning and decision-making.
