/p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, simulate, and optimize photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and sensors for diverse applications across telecommunications, automotive, infrastructure, and avionics sectors.
/li liCollaborate with the team to develop test plans and validate the performance of fabricated prototypes and products.
/li liAnalyze experimental data, interpret results, and compile comprehensive technical reports on completed test activities.
/li liMonitor emerging technologies and industry trends to identify innovative solutions and improvement opportunities.
/li liSupport intellectual property development by preparing and submitting patent applications.
/li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liPhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
/li liHands-on experience in a laboratory environment.
/li liProficiency with optical test and measurement instruments, including Optical Spectrum Analyzers, Optical Power Meters, Tunable Lasers, and Polarization Controllers.
/li liSolid understanding of optical characterization techniques.
/li liExperience in the design, fabrication, and testing of photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
/li liProficient in photonics design and simulation software such as Lumerical, RSoft, or VPIphotonics.
/li liKnowledge of photonic component design, including waveguides, resonators, filters, and modulators.
/li liFamiliarity with the design and testing of optoelectronic devices, such as lasers and photodetectors.
