General Description Of The Role
The Junior International Freights Specialist ensures efficient and compliant management of international freight operations, supporting timely and cost-effective shipments of goods to serve markets served by Campari from its European Plants and Co-Manufacturers.
Mission/Objectives
He/she organizes and monitors export shipments by Ocean, Road and air of the FG's outbound flows ensuring Customers receive Campari products on time, at competitive logistics costs and in full respect of DCM Quality and H&S; guidelines.
Key Responsibilities & Activities
Defines weekly transportation plans based on offical allocation table to be cascaded to DCM plant warehouses to serve DCM export markets
Is the internal and exterenal key refernce in dealing with appointed transport companies, hauliers and forwarders on a day to day basis
Proactively anticipate or resolves any emerging problems that our customer might face with accuracy and efficiency; Trouble shooting to proactively find suitable solutions in time and manner to the finnal customer
Maintains proper and accurate Pre-Shipment and Post-shipment Administration
Ensures consistency of transportation data (ie: costs and volumes) is feeded into DCM IT systems (ie: SAP and satellite FP&A; systems);
Ensures alignment with external/internal stakeholders (ie: 3PL's, Plant Logistics team, FP&A;,...)
by establishing periodic routines and on-going communication practices to keep them up to date on service level metric attainment, ongoing issues, risks and opportunities
Leads, develops, coaches and mentors the direct team achievement of greater performance and the teams' development through open communication and regular meetings
Key Relationships
External: Customers, 3PL's, Consultants,
Internal: Novi/Canale Logistics, Planning Hub SSG, CS Export SSG, IMC's CS & logistics teams
Experience, Education & Personal Traits
Bachelor ?s or Master ?s degree in Engineering or Business Management
Fluent English and Italian (both are a "must")
Intermediate level in using MS Office Package, advanced Excel capabilities
Strong customer service orientation combined with cost optimization mindset
Ownership to deliver results; high energy and drive
Self confident, organized team player
Speed over perfection approach in problem solving
Very High tolerance to stress, ability to prioritize, multitask, organize, and manage time effectively
Effective communication skills with vendors and co-workers through a high volume of e-mails, phone calls and verbal contacts.
