Role Description We are seeking a professional and personable Bartender for a full-time, on-site position at Caffetteria Palazzo Avignonesi in Montepulciano. The successful candidate will prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, coffee-based drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining the high service standards of the San Bartolomeo di Caselle Hospitality Group. Welcoming guests and providing attentive, professional service Preparing and serving cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits,



and other beverages Presenting local wines and products confidently to Italian and international guests Setting up and maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area Monitoring stock levels and supporting inventory management Collaborating with colleagues across the Group during daily operations, private events, tastings, and receptions Adapting the service style to different occasions, from relaxed daytime service to elegant private events Previous experience as a bartender in a bar, hotel, restaurant, or upscale hospitality venue Good knowledge of wine, spirits, coffee, and Italian food and beverage products Excellent customer-service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality Professional proficiency in both Italian and English is mandatory Confidence when interacting with international guests Clear, courteous, and professional communication skills Experience using point-of-sale systems and handling cash and electronic payments Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and private events Additional languages and previous experience in luxury hospitality are considered an advantage Full-time employment within a growing hospitality group One staff meal provided per shift Accommodation may be available upon request and subject to availability The opportunity to work with both Italian and international guests A dynamic working environment combining hospitality, events, and bespoke travel experiences Opportunities for professional development within the San Bartolomeo di Caselle Hospitality Group If you are passionate about hospitality, local products, and creating memorable guest experiences, we would be pleased to hear from you.
