This role in summary
We are looking for a motivated and curious Data Science Intern to join our Advanced Analytics & AI team in Milan.
During the internship, you will work alongside Data Scientists, ML Engineers,
and business stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions that support business decisions and improve operational processes. You will gain hands-on experience across the data science lifecycle, including data preparation, exploratory analysis, machine learning, Generative AI, model evaluation, and communication of results.
Your responsibilities will include
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into data science use cases.
- Collect, clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data from different sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and evaluate statistical and machine learning models for classification, regression, forecasting, recommendation, or anomaly detection.
