ph3Job Description /h3 h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liResearch, analysis and collection of reference data for Italian and foreign companies, in particular personal data and International Issuer Codes (LEI, SP, Moody's, Fitch, Local code). /li liIdentification of economic activity and assignment of international codes (ATECO, NACE, SIC, NAICS, GICS) based on official classifications by competent authorities. /li liMonitoring and management of the ordinary/extraordinary company operations (name change, re-domiciliation, MA, etc.). /li liMonitoring and management of the upcoming companies on the Italian and international market. /li liManages the terms of the Board of Directors/ordinary/extraordinary/special shareholders' meetings. /li liUpdates Governance and shareholding of some client portfolios and Italian listed companies. /li liAnalysis of the group structure, resulting in the identification and management of direct parents, ultimate parents, subsidiaries, public control, and public administration - elements fundamental to the majority of ICE products and services. /li liBasic live stock creation and mapping. creation and management of skeletal/partial ISINs in Database, coming from any internal or external supplier and linking them to the correct issuer. /li liManages daily Stock Exchange Notices for topics of interest in the sector. /li liMonitors the Italian Official Gazette, controls the companies present in the Database and manages the variations. /li liInteracts with multinational colleagues (London, Dublin, New York) for data control and help desk. /li liConduct a systematic analysis of companies subject to international sanctions,
with the goal of accurately identifying and registering them within internal systems. This activity supports data integrity. /li liDesign and implement automated solutions to optimize recurring processes in corporate data management and analysis, reducing operational time and enhancing efficiency and data quality. /li liEnsure daily management and updating of corporate data for Italy and other countries, including monitoring of Borsa Italiana exchange announcements, census of new Italian SPVs, PIR verification, input of Adjusted Non-Performing Loan Rate values, and monitoring of Banca d’Italia codes. Provide biannual support for updating macroeconomic data and geographic areas, and contribute to the maintenance of short company profiles. /li liEnsure the efficient and accurate management of information related to entities and securities, while guaranteeing the timely and high-quality fulfillment of client requests (daily challenges). /li liCollaborate with internal teams to enhance request traceability and identify potential workflow optimization opportunities. /li liEnsure continuous monitoring and updating of companies rated by credit agencies (e.g., Moody’s, SP, Fitch) within internal systems,
guaranteeing accurate registration and classification of rating data and consistency with official sources. /li liInvolved in support activities related to the management of conflicts of interest for pension funds and the management of macroeconomic data extrapolated from EUROSTAT and ISTAT files. /li liCreates company profiles (business, shareholders, governance, etc.). /li liUploads Bank of Italy counterpart codes. /li liResearch of company documentation (Annual Report). /li /ul h3Knowledge and Experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in economics. /li li1+ years of experience in the financial services industry. /li li1+ years of experience querying / retrieving data from structured databases (SQL/Oracle. Python). Not mandatory but highly recommended /li liTechnical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Python programming, and SQL. Not mandatory but highly recommended /li liOrganized and structured with attention to detail. /li liStrong collaboration skills. /li liStrong communication skills. /li liFluent English language proficiency (written and spoken). /li /ul h3Italy Base Salary Range /h3 pThe expected base salary for this role is between 28,000 - 40,000 EUR. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on objective and gender-neutral criteria including skillset, qualifications and experience of the individual.
