The Lean Specialist will support the deployment of Lean Manufacturing across the three production plants, working closely with Manufacturing Managers to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and overall operational performance.Main ResponsibilitiesLead continuous improvement initiatives and Lean workshops on the shop floor.Support the deployment of the Vertiv Operations System (VOS) roadmap.Train teams on Lean methodologies including 5S, VSM, TPM, SMED and Standard Work.Monitor production KPIs and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality and lead time.Identify process bottlenecks and support root-cause analysis and problem-solving activities.Support FMEA activities in collaboration with R&D.Contribute; to improvements in production layouts, tools, jigs and line organisation.Prepare reports to track the effectiveness of improvement actions.RequirementsEngineering degree preferred.Around 5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing,
Continuous Improvement or a similar industrial role is highly preferred, candidate with less can be considered.Good knowledge of Lean tools such as P-FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, PDCA and Kaizen.Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably involving metal fabrication, brazing, welding or assembly.Ability to read mechanical drawings.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Good written and spoken English.Strong problem-solving, teamwork and organisational skills.The role covers Lean Manufacturing activities across all three production plants. xysqume
