/liliModel and simulate braking system components and architectures, including hydraulic circuits, valves, actuators, pumps, accumulators, calipers, master cylinders, brake boosters, and related mechanical elements. /liliDevelop strong1D system-level models /strong to investigate system performance, dynamic behavior, component interactions, and failure modes. /liliUse strongSiemens Simcenter Amesim /strong and strongMathWorks Simscape/Simulink /strong to create, calibrate, and validate physical models. /liliEstablish modelling methodologies and best practices across the different simulation toolchains. /liliTranslate physical requirements and engineering specifications into appropriate mathematical and physical representations. /liliCorrelate simulation models against strongtest-bench, component, and vehicle-level measurements /strong. /liliPerform parameter identification, model calibration, sensitivity analysis, and uncertainty assessment. /liliSupport the definition and execution of simulation-based strongverification and validation /strong activities. /liliCollaborate closely with engineers working on system architecture, controls, hydraulics, mechanics, testing, and vehicle integration. /liliProvide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers developing physical models. /liliEvaluate and select appropriate modelling fidelity depending on the engineering application, from concept studies to detailed validation. /liliContribute to the development of reusable modelling libraries, simulation workflows, and automated model-validation processes. /liliCommunicate simulation results and technical conclusions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /li /ulpbr / /pp strongRequired Skills Qualifications /strong /pulliMaster Engineering Degree in strongMechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering /strong,
or a related technical discipline. /liliSignificant professional experience in strongphysical/system modelling and simulation /strong within the automotive industry. /liliStrong understanding of strongmechanical and hydraulic system dynamics /strong, including fluid mechanics, pressure/flow relationships, mechanical dynamics, friction, thermal effects, and energy transfer. /liliDemonstrated experience with strongautomotive braking systems /strong, ideally including hydraulic braking, electro-hydraulic braking, brake-by-wire, or related technologies. /liliHands-on experience with both: /lilistrongSiemens Simcenter Amesim /strong /lilistrongMathWorks Simscape / Simulink /strong /liliStrong understanding of strongmulti-domain physical modelling /strong and the principles behind equation-based modelling. /liliExperience with model calibration and correlation against experimental data. /liliAbility to assess modelling assumptions, numerical behavior, model stability, and simulation accuracy. /liliGood understanding of simulation workflows covering model development, parameterization, calibration, verification, and validation. /liliExperience with MATLAB/Simulink scripting or automation is highly desirable. /liliKnowledge of model-based development and automotive development processes is an advantage. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongPreferred Skills Qualifications /strong /pulliExperience with strongbrake-by-wire, ESC/ABS, hydraulic brake control, regenerative braking, or integrated braking systems /strong. /liliExperience modelling strongelectro-hydraulic actuators and mechatronic systems /strong. /liliKnowledge of vehicle dynamics and longitudinal vehicle modelling. /liliExperience integrating physical plant models with strongcontrol-system models /strong. /liliFamiliarity with strongMIL, SIL, and HIL /strong simulation environments. /liliExperience with automated testing, regression testing, and model-quality assessment. /liliKnowledge of automotive standards and development processes such as strongISO 26262 /strong is a plus. /liliExperience transferring or correlating models between different simulation environments is particularly valuable /li /ulpbr / /p
