These activities place the company at the forefront of small and innovative space radar solutions, supporting applications such as environmental monitoring, security, and mapping. /p pCombination of innovative technology and advanced processing techniques has made MetaSensing a fast growing, global company with projects in Europe, South East Asia, Middle East, North and South America. /p h3Job description and duties /h3 pWe are looking for an experienced Senior Radar Payload System Engineer to join our engineering team working on advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) payloads for Earth Observation and scientific space missions. /p pThe candidate will be responsible for the technical part of assigned radar payload developments throughout the entire project lifecycle, adapting Metasensing products to new requirements and interfaces. /p pWorking closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, customers and industrial partners, the candidate will ensure the technical consistency of the payload, coordinate system engineering activities,



prepare technical reviews and project milestones. /p pThis position is intended for engineers with at least 8-10 years of experience in space systems engineering, with particular focus on radar development from design to operations. /p pYou will have the opportunity to work on real space missions in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your technical contribution has direct impact. /p pThe selected candidate will be responsible for: /p ul liCoordination of the system engineering activities for assigned radar payload development projects. /li liDefining, analysing and maintaining system requirements, architecture and technical budgets. /li liCoordinating payload-to-platform interfaces with spacecraft manufacturers and external partners. /li liEnsuring technical consistency across multidisciplinary engineering teams (RF, electronics, mechanics, thermal, software, AIT and operations). /li liPreparing, maintaining and reviewing technical documentation in compliance with customer and ECSS requirements. /li liPreparing project technical milestones and associated documentation. /li liSupporting integration, verification, validation, commissioning and operational readiness activities.



/li /ul h3Required skills and qualifications /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Space Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related discipline. /li liMinimum 8-10 years of professional experience in Space Systems Engineering and Radar Payload development. /li liStrong knowledge of Radar engineering principles, including SAR architectures, radar signal chain and radar performance analysis. Good understanding of RF architectures and high-speed digital electronics used in radar payloads. /li liStrong knowledge of payload/platform interfaces and spacecraft subsystems. /li liProven experience with system engineering processes, including requirements engineering, interface management, verification and validation. /li liExperience preparing technical documentation and project reviews. /li liExperience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams throughout the project lifecycle. /li liFamiliarity with ECSS standards and the complete space system development lifecycle. /li liExcellent communication skills and ability to interface with customers, suppliers and institutional stakeholders. /li liFluency in English (written and spoken). /li liAvailability for occasional travel. /li /ul h3Nice to have Skills / Qualifications /h3 ul liPrevious involvement in ESA or institutional space programmes. /li liExposure to AIT/AIV campaigns and commissioning activities. /li /ul h3Candidate must be eligible to work in Italy. /h3 h3Employment condition: Full-time, 40 hours per week. /h3 h3Offered salary range: €55,000-€65,000 gross per year /h3 /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
