With five decades of experience, our systems ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable operations for a diverse range of customers and applications worldwide. /p h3Summary /h3 pIn this role, you will be responsible for testing electromechanical systems, verifying compliance with international safety and performance standards, and managing the product certification process for a range of industrial solutions. /p pYou will contribute to the development and launch of electrification and automation systems used in ports, airports, heavy industry, and transportation fields. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDefine test equipments, procedure and condition to perform reliable testing /li liTest equipments to investigate performances of the defined range of product, when required, according to a long term plan /li liVariable Frequency Drives programming, settings and parametrization /li liDefine the instrumentation diagrams, together with the software developers, mechanical teams and suppliers /li liCollaborate closely with other teams to verify the existence and adequacy of type tests for current and new designs, providing expert technical input to support customer bids and product launches. /li liDesign, develop, and execute test plans for new and existing products both internally and at external (3rd party) facilities /li liManage the preparation and validation of all necessary documentation, test reports, and evidence to support regulatory certification, audits, and customer requirements. /li liAnalyze and interpret test results, identify deviations, and collaborate with design teams to resolve issues and optimize product performance. /li liMaintain and continuously update the type test databases, including specialized records for seismic and other special tests,



ensuring data accuracy and accessibility. /li liContribute to products qualification, validation (testing), and certifications (Class approval) activities /li liSupport engineering and quality teams during design reviews, FMEA sessions, and root cause analysis of non-conformities /li liPlan, design, and execute functional, mechanical, electrical, and environmental test procedures on products such as motorized cable reels, power units, charging interfaces, and distribution panels /li liEnsure products meet applicable regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., IEC, ISO, UL, CE, EMC, LVD, Machinery Directive) /li liManage certification processes with third-party laboratories and notified bodies, preparing and maintaining all necessary technical documentation (e.g., test reports, risk assessments, declarations of conformity) /li liDefine and implement test protocols for type testing, design validation, and regression testing, both manual and automated /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul libDegree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent /b /li liSignificant experience managing type testing activities, preferably in electrical or mechanical component industries, with a focus on similar products. /li liDemonstrated leadership skills with experience managing technical projects. /li liExcellent organizational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail. /li liStrong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to type testing and product certification (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ..). /li liStrong understanding of testing procedures and protocols, including execution and reporting. /li liRead and write electrical diagram, understanding of hydraulics diagrams is a plus. /li liFamiliarity with quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and CE/UKCA marking processes /li liFluency in bEnglish and Italian are mandatory to be successful in the role /b /li liExperience with programming motor drives and setting programming parameters (ABB, Siemens, Vacon-Danfoss, Yaskawa) /li /ul pCandidates not in line with the requirements described above will not been taken into consideration. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
