Reporting to the Sales Director, the role operates at the intersection of technical expertise, customer consultancy and commercial development, supporting strategic opportunities from early specification to project execution. /p pThe position ensures that lighting solutions are not treated as standalone products, but as intelligent infrastructures combining lighting, controls, emergency lighting, IoT, connectivity, safety, energy efficiency, and digital services. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop end-to-end lighting system architectures for complex and strategic projects. /li liDefine lighting control philosophies, system layouts, integration logic and technical requirements. /li liCreate scalable reference architectures and solution blueprints for priority vertical markets. /li liEnsure interoperability between lighting systems, smart controls, emergency lighting, IoT devices, sensors, software platforms, and third-party systems. /li liValidate technical feasibility, scalability, performance, and reliability of proposed solutions. /li /ul h3Sales Business Development Support /h3 ul liSupport the Sales Director, Key Account Managers, and Professional End User teams in strategic opportunities. /li liParticipate in customer meetings, technical presentations, and executive discussions. /li liLead technical discovery workshops to understand customer needs, operational requirements, and decision criteria. /li liTranslate customer challenges into solution concepts, value propositions, and technical architectures. /li liIdentify cross-selling and up‑selling opportunities across the GEWISS LightZone portfolio. /li /ul h3Technical Consulting Specification Influence /h3 ul liAct as trusted technical advisor for consultants,
architects, engineers, municipalities, developers, ESCOs, infrastructure operators and end users. /li liSupport specification activities and influence project requirements through technical expertise. /li liPrepare system diagrams, architecture narratives, technical assumptions, and solution documentation. /li liSupport value engineering while safeguarding solution quality, compliance, and long‑term performance. /li /ul h3Strategic Tender Project Support /h3 ul liSupport complex tenders with technical concepts, architecture validation, and risk assessment. /li liReview customer specifications and identify technical gaps, risks, or opportunities for differentiation. /li liContribute to technical clarifications, compliance matrices, and solution documentation. /li liSupport commissioning and validation of discussions where system integration is critical. /li liMonitor market trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs. /li liProvide structured feedback to Product Management, RD, and Marketing on recurring project requirements. /li liContribute to the development of new digital services, connected lighting applications, and vertical solution packages. /li liPromote best practices in solution architecture, interoperability, and system thinking across the organization. /li /ul h3Requirements: /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Lighting Engineering, Telecommunications, Automation, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical discipline. /li liProficient English is required; knowledge of Italian, French, Spanish or German is considered a nice‑to‑have. /li liMinimum 7 years of experience in professional lighting, lighting controls, smart buildings, smart cities, infrastructure, IoT solutions, or systems integration. /li liProven experience in customer‑facing technical roles supporting complex solution sales or strategic project development. /li liExperience working with consultants, designers, engineering firms, municipalities, infrastructure operators, developers and end users. /li liInternational project exposure and multi‑brand or multi‑technology integration experience are considered a plus.

Further details, including any additional benefits and provisions established by the applicable national and company-level collective bargaining agreements, will be provided during the interview process. Placement within the indicated salary range will depend on an assessment of the candidate’s experience, seniority level, responsibilities, soft skills, technical and specialized competencies, and any other role‑relevant factors evaluated during the selection process.
