Role Description The Lighting Technical Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Salerno Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for designing and detailing lighting solutions that enhance luxury interior environments, ensuring that lighting concepts align with architectural intent, material selections, and client expectations. Day-to-day tasks include developing technical lighting drawings and specifications, coordinating with architects, engineers, and interior designers, and selecting fixtures and control systems appropriate to each project.

Designer will review and refine lighting layouts, participate in site visits and inspections, and support the execution phase to ensure accurate installation and performance. The role also involves collaborating on design presentations, resolving technical issues, and maintaining documentation and standards that reflect AILGOS’s commitment to craftsmanship and precision.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Technical Design skills with a focus on lighting systems and integration into high-end interior environments.
- Candidates should possess Architecture-related skills, including reading and interpreting architectural plans and coordinating lighting layouts with structural and interior design elements.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of construction processes and detailing, with the ability to translate design concepts into buildable technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in fitting and pattern-related thinking, such as spatial problem-solving and precise alignment of lighting components with finishes and fixtures.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Relux, or similar lighting design tools).
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and quality in both design and documentation.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Candidates should possess a degree in Architecture, Lighting Design, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience in luxury interiors or lighting design is highly valued.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of lighting standards, regulations, and energy efficiency principles; experience with high-end residential, hospitality, or commercial projects is beneficial.
