We are looking for a Freelance Backend Software Developer to collaborate on an innovative project developed by Startup Bakery. You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend solutions, working closely with product, data, and engineering teams.





In a fast-moving and flexible environment, you will actively contribute to technical decisions and directly see the impact of your work. Contribute to the development of data-intensive and AI-driven backend systems Develop and manage databases and backend applications Collaborate with data scientists and other engineers to improve software solutions Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field ~4+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer / Developer ~ Strong proficiency in Node.js, PHP, Laravel, Python ~ Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or AWS ~ Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) ~ Good written and spoken English ~ Freelance collaboration ~ Remote-first, with optional access to our Milan office
