Responsibilities

The Finance and Accounting Manager will play a key role in coordinating the accounting team, driving continuous process improvement, and evolving the service delivery model, while ensuring regulatory compliance, adherence to deadlines, and a high level of service towards internal stakeholders.

The position will be responsible for the accuracy of transactional processes, the preparation of consolidated financial statements, the management of monthly closing activities, and the maintenance of strong internal controls.

Duties

Operational Leadership

- Supervise the day-to-day activities of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Travel Expenses, and General Ledger functions.
- Monitor the accuracy of transactions and manage any escalations.

Reporting & Closing

- Ensure the accuracy of transactional data integrated into the monthly closing process, meeting tight reporting deadlines.
- Support intercompany reconciliation and consolidation activities.
- Ensure accurate period-end journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to deliver timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare the Financial Statements, Notes to the Financial Statements, and Financial Reports.
- Coordinate the preparation of the Group Consolidated Financial Statements.

Compliance & Internal Control

- Ensure rigorous internal controls and compliance with accounting and tax regulations, including SOX requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing the necessary supporting documentation.
- Maintain and update the Group's accounting and administrative policies.





Process Improvement & Efficiency

- Analyze and streamline operational workflows through standardization, digitalization, and automation initiatives.
- Lead continuous improvement projects and service model reviews.
- Reduce operational costs while maintaining effectiveness and quality.

Stakeholder Management

- Ensure transparency and effective communication with all relevant business functions and stakeholders.

Education

- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Technical Competencies

- Knowledge of administrative and financial management processes in medium to large organizations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of JD Edwards ERP.

Soft Skills

Language skills

- Fluent English

Experience

- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within medium to large structured organizations, with responsibility for the preparation of consolidated group financial statements.

Cosa offriamo

- Contratto: A Tempo Indeterminato.
- CCNL applicato: Metalmeccanico Industria.
- Retribuzione: fascia retributiva prevista € da 80.000 a 90.000 lordi annui (RAL) su 14 mensilità, definita in conformità al CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria. L'importo effettivo sarà determinato in base all'esperienza competente, alle competenze possedute e al livello di inquadramento assegnato.
