Role Description The Field Application Engineer – Precision Farming role is a full-time hybrid position based in Italy, with work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the engineer provides on-site and remote technical support for precision farming and smart agricultural equipment, assisting customers with installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of systems. The position involves collaborating with the sales team to identify customer needs, demonstrate product capabilities, and support pre- and post-sales activities.





Daily responsibilities include conducting field tests, gathering customer feedback, preparing technical documentation, and training users on best practices to ensure reliable performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in field applications and technical support for precision farming or smart agricultural equipment.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, including sales support and solution demonstrations.
- Solid understanding of analog systems and basic electronics relevant to agricultural machinery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in the field.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, agriculture technology, electronics, or a related discipline.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in outdoor agricultural environments as needed.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian or other European languages is an advantage.
