ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent under the supervision of the HR Associate G6 and the overall supervision of the Chief HRMOG will perform the following duties:
Provide assistance to clients related to HR matters within area of responsibility;
Respond to HR related queries received and escalate where appropriate, to provide a timely and accurate service to clients;
Verify the accuracy of the information provided by the SM;
On Work Day (WD) go-live provide first-level support to WD users including during the hyper care period via the case management system in Workday;
Be responsible for the preparation of ad hoc HR Certificates in WD, ensuring that they are prepared accurately and thoroughly;
Support the maintenance of Personnel Files, documents, and records in accordance with established systems for readily available information to staff, HR officer or Chief;
Ensure that such system is also maintained in e-registry during the initial transition period with WD;
Identify discrepancies in statistics and data, such as missing information, and report to senior staff in order to support clients to deliver their work;
Take responsibility for data integrity to facilitate availability of accurate information in corporate systems;
Contribute to the review of further enhancements post WD go-live in key workstreams;
Seek and participate to in house trainings;
Any other duties in line with responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education: Completion of secondary school education.
Experience: Three or more years of experience in general administrative work.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Ability to use standard office equipment such as photocopiers and scanners.
· Knowledge of standardized business support work routines and methods.
· Knowledge of standard office software packages, e.g. Microsoft word.
· Uses tact and courtesy to give and receive information with a variety of individuals.
· Good attention to detail in order to identify data discrepancies.
· Ability to work to deadlines and follow clear instructions and customer relations with courtesy and tact.
Language: General Service (Headquarters): Fluency (level C) in English language. Fluency (level C) or intermediate knowledge (level B) of another official language may be required depending on the location of the post or area of responsibility.
