Premabergo S.R.L. is an engineering company specialized in the design and supply of process packages and skid-mounted systems for the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy and Industrial sectors.

For the strengthening of our Engineering Department, we are looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to support the design, procurement, manufacturing and testing activities of our process packages.

Role Purpose

The Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for the electrical, instrumentation and control engineering activities related to Premabergo process packages, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable international standards, client requirements and project schedule.

The role will interface with Process, Mechanical and Project Engineering disciplines, as well as with clients, suppliers, panel builders, instrumentation vendors and subcontractors.

Main responsibility

The selected candidate will be involved in the following activities:

- Review of Client specifications, datasheets, FEED documentation and project requirements related to Electrical, Instrumentation and Control systems;

- Preparation andreview of Electrical and Instrumentation engineering documentation;

- Definition of the electrical architecture of process packages and skid-mounted systems;

- Preparation andreview of:

1. Electrical Load List;

2. Motor List;

3. Instrument Index;

4. I/O List;

5. Cable List;

6. Junction Box List;

7. Electrical Consumers List;

8. Cause & Effect Matrix;

9. Control Philosophy;

10. Functional Description;

11. Instrument Datasheets;

12. Instrument Hook-Up Drawings;

13. Loop Diagrams;

14. Wiring and Interconnection Diagrams;

15. Single Line Diagrams;

16. Electrical and Instrumentation Layouts;

17. Cable Routing and Cable Schedule;

18. Material Requisitions and Technical Specifications;

19. Selection and sizing of field instrumentation such as:
20. pressure, differential pressure, temperature, flow and level transmitters;

21. switches and gauges;

22. control valves;

23. on/off valves and actuators;

analyzers and package-mounted instrumentation;

- Selection and sizing of electrical equipment including:

1. electric motors;

2. transformers and rectifiers;

3. local control panels;

4. junction boxes;

5. isolators;

6. power supplies;

7. UPS and DC power distribution systems;

- Definition and review of PLC, HMI, ESD and package control system requirements;

- Management of interfaces between Package Control System and Client ICSS/DCS/ESD systems;

- Verification ofhazardous area requirements and selection of suitable Ex-certified equipment;

- Preparation of technical documentation for RFQ/RDO to suppliers;

- Technical evaluation and comparison of suppliers' quotations;

- Preparation of Technical Bid Evaluations and technical clarifications;

- Review and approval of vendor documentation;

- Management of technical comments and coordination with suppliers during the execution phase;

- Participation in technical meetings with Clients and Vendors;

- Support to Project Engineering and Project Management during project execution;

- Coordination with Process and Mechanical disciplines for multidisciplinary package integration;

- Support during manufacturing, assembly and commissioning activities;

- Preparation andreview of Inspection & Test Plans;

- Participation in FAT, functional tests, loop checks and inspection activities;

- Support in the management of Client comments, deviations and technical queries;

- Verification ofcompliance with applicable Client specifications, project requirements and international standards.

Technical Knowledge

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the main international Electrical and Instrumentation standards, including:

- IEC standards;

- IEC 60079 series for hazardous areas;





- IEC 61508 / IEC61511 for Safety Instrumented Systems;

- ISA standards and recommended practices;

- ATEX requirements;

- SIL concepts and Safety Instrumented Functions;

- Electrical protection and distribution principles;

- Instrumentationand control philosophy for process plants;

- PLC / HMI / DCS/ ESD systems;

- Industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet and HART.

Knowledge of Oil & Gas, Offshore, Marine or Petrochemical project specifications will be considered a strong advantage.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering or equivalent technical discipline;

- Previous experience in Electrical & Instrumentation engineering, preferably within:

1. EPC companies;

2. package equipment suppliers;

3. Oil & Gas;

4. Petrochemical;

5. Energy;

6. Offshore or Marine projects;

- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken;

- Ability to readand interpret P&IDs;, electrical diagrams, specifications and technical datasheets;

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;

- Familiarity with engineering software and CAD tools will be considered an advantage.

Experience

Previous experience with one or more of the following will be considered a plus:

- Process skids and packaged units;

- Water treatmentand electrochlorination packages;

- Gas drying and purification packages;

- Compressor or rotating equipment packages;

- Hazardous area instrumentation;

- SIL-rated control and ESD systems;

- Vendor package engineering;

- FAT and inspection activities;

- Offshore and marine projects;

- ABS, DNV or other Classification Society requirements.
