UNICEF is keen to maintainits sector lead position when it comes to fundraising and engagement with more than tenmillion individual supporters and the private sector writ large, comprising among others offoundations, corporate sector, faith, and membership-based organizations as well as majordonors and innovative finance modalities. /p pThe Strategic Planning Manager is responsible for managing the Office of the PFP Directorand providing quality support to the PFP Director and the division's management team, the Cabinet, in realizing the objectives of the division as set in the Office Management Plan. This post plays a critical role in the management of the division as well as in strategy, execution and internal coordination across the entire private sector fundraising and partnerships ecosystem - akin to a de facto division-level Chief of Staff. This also entails coordinating closely with the People Culture team and the deputies to assess organizational trends, workforce concerns, and staff well-being matters, and to advise the Director on issues requiring strategic attention and follow-up. /p h3Specifically, this post will: /h3 ul liManage the Office the PFP Director /li liServe as Secretariat of PFP Cabinet to effectively support managerial excellence /li liSupport division-wide management priorities including change management processes, collaboration with other divisions, internal communications and budget and HR management /li /ul h3To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have… /h3 pbMinimum requirements: /b /p ul libEducation /b: Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Social Science, International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration or any other related fields. /li libWork Experience /b: A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional work experience in external relations, public affairs, or international development cooperation, preferably within the UN, or in a government institution, NGO is required. /li libSkills /b: ul liPrior experience of working in the design and execution of strategies, coordination, planning, and partnerships or external affairs is required. /li liExperience in both headquarters and the field (e.g., Country or Regional Office), working with multiple priorities in high-pressure environments is required.
