Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for leading and optimising manufacturing operations within the assigned production plant, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, productivity and continuous improvement targets are achieved.

Main Responsibilities

- Plan and supervise daily production activities in line with production schedules.
- Manage and optimise production resources, including people, equipment and materials.
- Monitor key production KPIs such as output, efficiency, scrap, downtime and yield.
- Lead corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing principles across production activities.
- Support capacity improvements through optimisation of equipment, processes and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and manufacturing standards.
- Manage and develop the production team,



including approximately 60 employees across three shifts.
- Maintain accurate production data and reporting.

Requirements

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Management Engineering or a related technical field.
- Previous experience managing production within a structured manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial KPIs, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
- Proven people leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Engineering and Supply Chain.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of English.

The role has direct responsibility for the operational performance of the assigned manufacturing plant.
