The role can be based in Aberdeen, Washington or Dinnington. /b /p br/ pTo create technical drawings and plans using CAD software (Solidworks) from concept to design solutions. Working closely with the Project Engineers and Engineering Director to ensure all drawings align with the project requirements and industry standards as well to the satisfaction of the Clients. /p h3Accountability /h3 ul liTaking designs from concept into practical design solutions /li liProduction of 3D model parts and assemblies using the latest Solidworks software /li liReview customer specifications and translate into new designs /li liGenerate and revise drawings where it is necessary to produce non-standard products to meet customer specification requirements /li liAction and amend Bill of Materials (BOM)



using Aessop software /li liAction and amend manufacturing drawings /li liEnsure that all work under the control of the CAD Engineer Draughtsperson is completed to agreed scheduled target dates and within agreed manhour budgets. /li liTo liaise with all relevant disciplines in the company as necessary on all aspects of drawing compliance /li liTo identify and inform the relevant disciplines within the company of long lead items, specifying where necessary, and to liaise with purchasing and suppliers on special requirements /li liTake part in and contribute to design reviews of new and existing products /li liActively work with colleagues to continuously improve the Company’s working practices /li liWork in a manner which protects the health, safety and welfare of self and others /li liAdhere to all Company policies and procedures including quality, safety, environmental and HR /li liMaintain strict confidentiality on all matters relating to company business /li liTo carry out ad hoc duties as and when required /li /ul br/ h3Experience /h3 ul liGood experience of using Solidworks is essential /li liSound educational background, minimum HNC mechanical engineering/ draughting /li liStrong manufacturing/engineering background with the ability to convert verbal and written information into two- and three-dimensional drawings which will then be used for manufacturing heat exchangers, pressure vessels and process packages /li liSound engineering and technical knowledge with an excellent appreciation of manufacturing methods and processes /li liSolid comprehension of engineering drawings and principles as well as a good understanding of the qualities of metals as well as other materials /li /ul h3Attributes /h3 ul liStrong problem-solving ability coupled with a desire to come up with good practical solutions /li liExcellent communication, numeracy and IT skills /li liCapable of delivering high quality work to tight deadline with the minimum of supervision /li liAccuracy and attention to detail are essential /li liTeam and goal orientated /li liConfident to engage with all levels of the business /li liLogical and analytical approach /li liEfficient, with good attention to detail /li liWillingness to learn from others and share best practice /li liThorough, tenacious and results orientated /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
