Honda Motor Europe is looking for a Sales Area Manager (OEM) to support the development of OEM business within the Marine Division. Reporting to the EU Country Sales & Boat Builder Department Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth, strengthening relationships with OEM partners and Boat Builders, and enhancing Honda's market presence across Europe. Extensive travel within the assigned market area is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage OEM sales activities to achieve sales targets and market share objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers, Boat Builders, dealers, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor sales performance, identify business opportunities,
and implement effective countermeasures where needed.
- Gather and analyse market intelligence, competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer feedback.
- Support OEM marketing initiatives, co-marketing projects, trade shows, and industry events.
- Coordinate forecasts, orders, and delivery follow-up with internal sales administration, logistics, and planning teams.
- Manage technical and product-related requirements by liaising with engineering, rigging, and aftersales departments.
- Prepare regular reports and maintain accurate records of customer activities, market developments, and business performance.
Requirements
- Results-driven mindset with a strong commercial focus.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer orientation and ability to understand OEM and Boat Builder requirements.
- Capability to analyse situations, identify solutions, and drive actions to completion.
- Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
- Good Excel and reporting skills.
- Fluent English.
- Ability to understand and communicate both technical and commercial information.
Preferred
- Knowledge of the Italian and/or European Marine industry.
- Understanding of OEM operations, Boat Builder requirements, and dealer networks.
RAL: from €57.000 to €63.000 per year (CCNL Commercio)
