**How will you make an impact?**
You will be part of a dynamic and, as a Packaging Development Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring clients satisfaction and business growth by implementing the secondary packaging.
You will support the Team Leader in ensuring for the Italian site of Thermo Fisher Ferentino, the development of secondary packaging, through the management, modification, and transfer of the technical specifications of the materials and the management of relationships with customers and suppliers of materials and of packaging machines, in compliance with the required requirements and current regulations (laws, GMP standards, FDA, etc.). **What will you do?**
Support the Team Leader in ensuring the correct definition of the specifications of the secondary packaging of the product, through the analysis of the information collected through Technology Transfer, Business, Engineering, suppliers of packaging machines, or directly from the customer in relation to dimensions, characteristics of the material, layout, and content of the printed matter, in compliance with the compatibility with the packaging machines and the customer's requirements with current regulations (current EU GMP, US GMP) and company quality standards. Performs technical tests to support the installation or modernization of the packaging lines (FAT / SAT / Engineering RUN) in order to optimize the specifications of the materials with respect to the runnability performance previously established for each product. Support the Team Leader in ensuring the correct management of the specifications and/or artworks in force divided by customer, suitably linked to the related finished product,



to the packaging lines, and to the machine plant costs of the suppliers in compliance with the customer's requirements, the SOPs and of the regulations in force and completing the required activities on schedule. Management of interfacing with customer databases (workflow artworks/specifications). Collaborate with the Team Leader in order to technically support the Quality assurance and Compliance functions of the Italian site Thermo Fisher Ferentino for the management of non-conformities and related corrective actions and internal and external audits. Support the productions (Packaging) of the Italian Thermo Fisher Ferentino site in providing adequate technical documentation necessary for the correct setting of the packaging lines and for the control of the materials necessary for the manufacture of the individual finished products, in compliance with customer requirements and regulations in force. **How will you get here?**
The scientific degree is raccomanded or other similar fields.
At least 6 months of experience in the Pharma industry, preferably in the Packaging Department or other similar fields.
Familiar with process Packaging general principles and practices
Experience in writing or reviewing Technical specifications of secondary materials documents in support of the Packaging process.
Experience in artworks review. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:
Capacity to manage the technical relations with the clients/suppliers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and software of graphics (Adobe suite, illustrator, photoshop, etc.).
Good problem-solving abilities.
Attention to timings.
Fluent in Italian and English.
