Institute Itech is expanding internationally, with active operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, requiring a structured and scalable people operations function to support its growing global team.
About the Role:
Institute Itech is seeking an experienced and people-driven HR Manager to build, lead, and continuously develop the Institutes human resources function at a pivotal moment in its international growth.
The HR Manager will serve as the primary HR reference point for Institute Itechs leadership and staff, overseeing the full spectrum of people operations — from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management, organizational development, and HR compliance across multiple geographies.
The selected candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy, contributing not only to the day-to-day HR function but also to the strategic people agenda of a fast-scaling, internationally oriented research and technology institute. The role requires someone equally comfortable designing HR frameworks from the ground up and managing the human dimensions of a complex, multidisciplinary organization.
Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Organizational Development
Define and implement Institute Itechs HR strategy in alignment with the organizations international growth roadmap
Design and maintain organizational structures, reporting lines, and workforce planning frameworks
Advise executive leadership on people strategy, talent priorities, and organizational design decisions
Support the development and scaling of HR processes, policies, and systems as the organization grows
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
Lead and oversee the full recruitment cycle for all roles across technical, scientific, administrative, and executive functions
Define hiring strategies, sourcing channels, and selection methodologies appropriate to each role and geography
Ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Collaborate with department heads and project leads to anticipate and address hiring needs proactively
Onboarding, Performance & Development
Design and manage onboarding programs that ensure rapid integration and cultural alignment for new hires across geographies
Implement and oversee performance management frameworks, including goal setting, feedback cycles, and career development planning
Identify training and development needs across the organization and coordinate relevant initiatives
Support managers in handling performance-related conversations and development plans
HR Operations & Compliance
Oversee all HR administrative operations including contracts, employment records, payroll coordination, and compliance reporting
Ensure full compliance with Italian labor law and applicable international employment regulations across Institute Itechs active geographies
Manage relationships with external HR advisors, legal counsel, and employment authorities as required
Maintain and continuously improve HR documentation, internal policies, and procedural frameworks
Culture, Engagement & International HR
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance organizational culture across all teams and locations
Design and implement employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and recognition programs
Support the HR dimensions of Institute Itechs international expansion, including the onboarding of teams in new geographies
Serve as a trusted point of reference for staff on all people-related matters
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration , or a closely related discipline
4–6 years of experience in HR management or people operations, with demonstrated ownership of the full HR function
Solid knowledge of Italian labor law and HR compliance requirements
Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment across diverse role typologies
Experience designing and implementing HR processes, policies, and organizational frameworks
Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate autonomously and with sound judgment in a fast-moving, international environment
Fluent Italian (mandatory)
Fluent English (mandatory)
Discretion, reliability, and a high standard of professional integrity
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing HR operations across multiple geographies or international subsidiaries
Familiarity with HR management systems and applicant tracking tools (Personio, BambooHR, Workday, or equivalent)
Background in technology, research, or innovation-driven organizational contexts
Knowledge of employment regulations in GCC, Middle Eastern, or Asian markets
Experience supporting organizational scaling, restructuring, or international expansion
Additional language skills (Arabic, Mandarin, or French considered an asset)
HR certification (SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) considered a plus

Compensation
Annual Gross Salary: €55,000 , in line with mid-level HR management profiles.
