In this role, you will work closely with customers, Sales, Tendering, Product Management, engineering teams and local operating units to develop optimized, fit-for-purpose charging solutions for public and commercial transport. You will shape high-level technical concepts from early customer engagement through tendering and support their refinement during project execution. /p h3How you’ll make an impact /h3 ul liEngage with customers early in the project-development cycle to understand operational needs, charging strategies, site constraints, grid-connection requirements, and future expansion plans. /li liDevelop and compare high-level technical solution concepts for charging infrastructure, including system architecture, key design criteria, scope boundaries and interfaces. /li liTranslate customer and market requirements into optimized, feasible, and value-based solutions using the Hitachi Energy portfolio, while identifying assumptions, deviations, technical risks opportunities. /li liSupport Sales Capture and tender teams during pre-design by coordinating technical inputs, evaluating solution options and handing over the selected concept for verification and refinement by tender and factory teams. /li liCoordinate with internal specialists and interface partners on power-system studies, grid connection, power conversion, charging equipment, energy management, smart charging, control and communication, civil interfaces and installation concepts. /li liPrepare and present technical proposals, concept descriptions, single-line diagrams, design criteria, study scopes, and customer-facing technical material. /li liSupport project teams after awards clarification and refinement of the sold solution, helping preserve design intent, manage interfaces, and identify opportunities for optimization or upselling. /li liUse customer and market insights to support Product Management in improving offerings, standard solutions and application guidelines for eMobility charging infrastructure. /li liContribute to technical workshops, events,



training, customer seminars and knowledge sharing across countries and functions. /li /ul h3Your background /h3 ul liBachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with emphasis on power systems, power electronics or Power System studies. /li li5 years of experience in application, power systems engineering, including DC power supply systems, application of power electronics (Thyristors, IGBTs), MV/LV distribution system, industrial electrification or equivalent electrical system. /li liSound understanding of AC and DC distribution, power conversion, transformers and switchgear, protection and control, power quality, harmonic performance and grid-connection principles. /li liExperience in developing technical concepts and converting customer requirements into system architectures, specifications, scope definitions, and compliant technical offers. /li liProactive and results-oriented, with strong analytical, communication, presentation, and teamwork skills in a multicultural and multi-location environment. /li liWillingness to travel for customer meetings, events, workshops and project support as required. /li liFluent in written and spoken English; another European language (e.g. German, French, Italian) is an advantage. /li /ul h3More about us /h3 pWe believegreat workthrives in an environment where people feel genuinely supported andfairly rewarded.
