Our validation engineers play a critical role in assuring that Automotive SSD products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance throughout their development lifecycle. /ph3Position Overview /h3pWe are looking for a Validation Engineer who is passionate about storage technologies and automotive applications. In this role, you will develop and complete validation strategies for Automotive SSD products, ensuring comprehensive verification of firmware, hardware, and system-level requirements. You will work closely with firmware, hardware, systems architecture, product engineering, and quality teams to identify product risks early, improve validation effectiveness, and help deliver robust industry-leading storage solutions. You will also bring to bear a growing ecosystem of AI-enabled validation and development tools to accelerate test development, debug, and data analysis activities. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop and maintain validation methodologies, test suites, and automation frameworks to verify Automotive SSD functionality, performance, reliability, and compliance requirements. /liliBuild and complete known-box, grey-box, and system-level validation tests across the product development lifecycle. /liliCollaborate with firmware, hardware, architecture, and product engineering teams to translate product requirements into scalable and effective validation coverage. /liliAnalyze test results, investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and drive issue resolution with multi-functional teams.



/liliDevelop automation tools and test infrastructure using Python and other scripting/programming languages to improve validation efficiency and product quality. /liliValidate SSD behavior under automotive use cases and stress conditions, including performance, power management, error handling, endurance, and reliability scenarios. /liliContribute to quality improvement initiatives by identifying validation gaps, recommending process enhancements, and continuously improving test methodologies. /liliApply AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate test development, result analysis, and debug activities. /liliSupport product qualification and release readiness activities in accordance with automotive quality expectations. /li /ulh3Minimum Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. /liliProgramming experience in Python and/or C. /liliUnderstanding of software, firmware, or hardware validation methodologies. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliGood written and verbal communication skills in English. /liliAbility to work effectively in a multi-functional and global engineering environment. /liliWillingness to travel internationally as required. /liliExperience with AI-assisted development, automation, and validation tools. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliExperience in product validation, verification, qualification, or test development. /liliStrong Python programming skills for automation, data analysis, and test framework development. /liliKnowledge of SSD architecture, NAND flash technology, storage systems, and industry-standard protocols such as NVMe, PCIe, SATA, or UFS. /liliExperience with failure analysis, debugging, and root cause investigations. /liliFamiliarity with automotive product development processes and quality standards. /liliExposure to automotive standards and methodologies such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, Functional Safety, or Automotive Quality Management processes is considered a plus.



/li /ulpThe base salary range that Micron estimates it could pay in for this position full-time is: 31.000,00 € - 54.000,00 € per year, with B2 CCNL Level. /ppOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
