AbbVieRomaEUR 40.000 - 60.000Job DescriptionThe Senior Data Analyst will have a key responsibility to drive execution of Advanced Analytics, focusing on augmenting CEX WWD business impact through special projects. The Data Analyst will contribute to a cross‐functional affiliate team, deploying and maintaining initiatives within Commercial teams. The Data Analyst is highly analytical, business‐oriented, and passionate about advanced analytics visualization development.Main responsibilitiesServe as a partner of Commercial teams in Italy, working cross‐functionally to drive and deliver Advanced Analytics and be a trusted partner for Affiliate brand teams and leadership.Drive stakeholder engagement to define business questions, requirements, timelines, objectives and success criteria for data analysis initiatives. Work with the CEx / Data Excellence team to prototype and develop relevant visualizations. Perform data analytics (time‐series analysis, categorical analysis, correlational & covariant analysis, etc.), transform data into actionable business insights using complex statistical models and algorithms, and identify effective dissemination tools and visual elements for stakeholders.Oversee and prepare data for the Data Scientists team. Understand business requirements and utilize datasets of varying size and complexity to inform Machine Learning algorithm development.Develop a deep understanding of AbbVie data assets and ontology in Foundry; define data entities and requirements, and brief the Data Engineering team to create appropriate environments.Guide data pipeline development (content checks, preparation, mapping, joining,
stitching). Assess data fit and quality, partnering with local and international data stewards to maintain the highest data standards.Work closely with Business Technology Solutions (BTS) colleagues to ensure smooth transition of pilots into production, including technical guidance for replication and scaling, with a focus on visualizations. Ensure Data Analysis and Visualization projects are conducted on time, accurately, within budget, and in accordance with financial and ethical compliance guidelines.Qualifications4+ years relevant experience with a proven track record of leveraging machine learning or AI to deliver significant business impact.MS degree or higher in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, economics, finance, engineering, machine learning, or related field preferred.Passion for learning and innovating with new methodologies at the intersection of big data, applied math, probability, statistics and computer science.Proficient in translating unstructured business problems into an abstract mathematical framework.Ability to communicate analysis results clearly and effectively using visualization tools.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain the logic and implications of complex models to product managers, engineers, designers and senior executives.Additional InformationAbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives and serving our community.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
