~ Book vendor invoices ~ Match amounts in proprietary A/P system to vendor invoices ~ Prepare and issue schedules of payments ~ Reconcile and resolve problem invoices ~ Build key relationships with vendors in order to quickly resolve invoice issues ~ File invoices, statements and any accounting related documents when necessary ~ Support Accounting Department with miscellaneous projects and assignments ~ Ensure communication with local branches ~Works with internal customers in Operations to provide support and assist with cost accounting and billing ~ Other tasks/duties as deemed appropriate by your management team Good computer skills (Word, Excel, and familiarity with PowerPoint) Fluent in English, both written and verbal Ability to multi-task and prioritize throughout the workday while remaining focused and organized Willing to pitch in and help on last minute projects or assist team members Comfortable working in a professional business environment Expeditors offers excellent benefits: Training and Personnel Development Program experience, and professional background
