Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and account balances.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, handling accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flows, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves assisting with budgeting, cost tracking, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.



The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide accurate financial information and support audits as needed.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Milan.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in general accounting principles, including ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and cash flow monitoring.
- Proficiency with accounting software and office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Knowledge of applicable tax regulations, local accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and support audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA or equivalent) are a plus.
- Experience working in a similar accounting role, preferably within a corporate or SME environment.
