SUMMARY: The shipping and receiving clerk is responsible for ensuring warehouse operations meet delivery goals and ensure customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Ensures orders are prepared, packaged, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
- Studies shipping notices, invoices, orders and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
- Plans, coordinates, and monitors the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods.
- Proficient use of automated and computerized systems where utilized.
- Responsible for keeping stock control systems up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Contributes to inventory control and monthly inventory audits.
- Maintains standards of safety, cleanliness, and security in the work environment.




- Maintains relationships with suppliers and transport companies.
- Partners with purchasing to ensure adequate inventory exists to meet delivery goals.
- Ensures the cleanliness of work areas and warehouse in general.
- Other duties as assigned by both manager and lead

REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to obtain a KY Pharmacy Technician license
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- High degree of customer service

- Basic computer skills including Gmail, Google Drive, and G-Suite programs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Stand, bend and reach for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 20-30 lbs
