Overview - Manager Beauty salon The Salon and Retail Store Manager leads, monitors, and analyzes the daily operations of the SPA establishment under their care and is fully accountable for the store's performance and profitability. The Salon Store Manager cultivates a quality team and sustains a healthy, positive team environment that ensures service operations are delivered smoothly.
Responsibilities and Duties Lead the salon staff team in providing excellent services and maximizing salon profit
Achieving Sales and Gross Margin targets on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis
Manage day-to-day operations of the salon including opening and closing procedures, staff behavior and customer intake procedures
Train salon staff in both product and sales
Monitor and enforce skills/procedures, policy and health regulations
Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage for the salon's needs
Set individual team member goals and objectives. Monitor staff performance and provide guidance for growth
Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions to staff disputes
Account for and report profits and expenses of the salon
Prepare and maintain sales, inventory and customer reports
Inventory management
Keep the salon clean and visually stimulating
Track and review client retention data and adjust the company's service strategy as necessary
Assist in implementing marketing activities and carrying out a promotional calendar to increase sales productivity




Qualifications and Skills Ability to communicate in Russian language due to Russian speaking clientele salon practice is recommended but not required
Extensive customer service provider experience
Advanced organizational skills to manage staff and salon operations
General bookkeeping and business finance skills
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Detailed knowledge of the beauty industry and customer needs
Expertise in basic and advanced nail techniques, including French manicures, airbrushing and gel manicures
Knowledge of cosmetology trends
Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards
Experience in customer service
Interest and ability to continue learning about market standards and changes in trends
Physical Requirements Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time and move quickly to accomplish many tasks
