ph3bJob Description /b /h3pbResponsibilities /bbr/Working as a Product Specialist Engineer the successful candidate will be providing high-level of technical support to the customer, field service engineers and technicians to ensure our equipments operate within specification, in-line with evolving customer requirements.
/ppThe job focus will be on our equipments, mainly on our customer site.
/ppIn this role, the person will also be in charge of the following activities: /pulliSupporting escalations and on-site projects such as tool installation /liliAnswering technical questions /liliTroubleshooting, and resolving complex problems via phone, email, or in person /liliLeading escalation meetings, both internally and externally /liliManaging technical reporting both internally with our factory and externally with the customer /liliReporting customer issues, design concerns, reliability, or maintenance problems to the European and Japanese product engineering team /liliParticipating on creating local procedures, BKM and on providing technical training to both field service engineer and start-up engineers /liliWorking closely with other members from Tokyo Electron Europe Product Support Group by sharing experience/knowledge with purpose of enhancing the global European technical support department /li /ulpBased on business needs, the candidate might support activities in France as well , as strong teamwork with the French technical support team will be needed.br/Additional support, business trips or remote support for other customers across all European sites may also be occasionally required.
/ppbTravelling percentage is around 20% /b as aforementioned teamwork with the French team may be required.
/ppbMain skills and requirements /b /pulliTechnical Education + at least 5 years of previous experience in a similar role; on technical support of complex electromechanical equipment, including installation, maintenance, and repair/debugging.




Ideally within the semiconductor industry or an equivalent field /liliExtensive knowledge in mechanical/electrical engineering field or equivalent /liliStrong verbal written communication ability /liliStrong skills in analysing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving of complex technical issues with analysis tools (e.g. 8D, 5why, Ishikawa, Kepner Tregoe...) /liliAbility to work under pressure /liliExceptional attention to detail /liliOrganisation skills and flexibility (working time) /liliSpecific focus on Safety procedures, Quality, and Compliance to reach customer's satisfaction /liliReflect TEL values and ethics, respect TEL safety, quality, compliance, and InfoSec initiatives at all times, and look to set an example for other employees in TEE and TEL /liliIT literacy skills (MS Excel, PPT, etc) /liliFluency in both Italian and English language is essential /li /ulpbCompensation /b /ppAnnual gross salary starting from 38K or 44K depending on experience and skills); final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and skills.br/ /ppIndividual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training.
