We are looking for a Marine Safety Superintendent with experience in the tanker sector (oil/chemical and or gas).The successful candidate will work closely with the Technical Department and onboard personnel to ensure compliance with international and company standards.Key responsabilities:- Monitor and ensure compliance with international maritime safety regulations (ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL).- Coordinate safety activities on board, supporting Masters and crew members.- Conduct internal audit, inspections, and follow-up on corrective actions.- Collaborate with technical and operational departments to promote a strong safety culture.- Manage reporting and emergency plans, ensuring high operational standards.- Deliver training and awareness sessions for the crew on safety and prevention.- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and non-conformities,



developing recommendations for continuous improvement.- Support the preparation and management of inspections carried out by maritime authorities and classification societies.- Contribute to the development and updating of onboard procedures and safety manuals.- ISPS implementationRequirements:- Experience as Master or C/O on oil/chemical or gas tankers- Experience in Safety roles ashore- In-depth knowledge of:1. ISM Code2. MARPOL / SOLAS3. ISGOTT4.
