We support European institutions, national governments, and international organisations through research, evaluation, technical assistance, and policy advisory services. FGB is actively involved in a wide range of EU-funded projects and Framework Contracts with the European Commission and other EU institutions. /p pbPosition /b /p pWe are looking for an experienced and proactive Business Development Manager (full-time) to further strengthen our presence in the European market and expand our portfolio of projects with EU institutions. This is a strategic role combining business development, bid management, and client engagement. /p pThe successful candidate will play a key role in: /p ul liIdentifying and securing new business opportunities, /li liActivating and managing assignments under existing Framework Contracts. /li /ul pbLocation /b /p pWe offer flexible working arrangements, with remote, hybrid, and in-office opportunities available. Workspaces are accessible from our Rome and Brussels offices. /p pbTasks /b /p ul liMonitor EU funding opportunities, calls for tenders, and re-opening of competitions under Framework Contracts, /li liLead and coordinate the preparation of high-quality technical and financial proposals, /li liDevelop winning strategies and value propositions for targeted opportunities, /li liBuild and manage consortia with partners, experts, and subcontractors, /li liActively contribute to the extraction of assignments from existing Framework Contracts (including service requests and specific contracts),
/li liMaintain relationships with EU institutions and key stakeholders, /li liCollaborate with internal teams (researchers, project managers, finance) to ensure competitive and compliant bids, /li liContribute to FGB’s overall growth strategy in EU markets. /li /ul pbRequirements /b /p ul liAt least 8 years of relevant professional experience in EU affairs, consulting, or business development, /li liProven track record in winning EU-funded tenders (European Commission and/or EU agencies), /li liStrong understanding of EU programmes, procurement procedures, and Framework Contracts, /li liExperience in proposal writing and bid management, /li liExcellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills, /li liStrong analytical and writing skills, /li liExcellent command of English (written and spoken). /li liExperience in policy areas such as employment, social policy, skills, migration, social justice, industrial relations, /li liExisting network of partners and experts in the EU ecosystem, /li liKnowledge of additional EU languages, /li liExperience working in international and multidisciplinary teams. /li /ul pbWhat We Offer /b /p ul liContract: Contractual arrangements will be determined based on the candidate’s location. For candidates residing in Italy or Belgium, a local employment contract may be provided.
