ph3Job Description Summary /h3pAvio Aero is working with national and international partners to design and develop the power and propulsion system for a new military program, interfacing with national and international customers/entities. Within the Military NPI Organization, the Program Schedule Manager will be deployed in UK, reporting to the PMO Leader Deputy, for a minimum of 2 years, up to 5 years and will serve as the Avio Aero representative in the Propulsion System Integrated Schedule Working Group. /ph3Essential Responsibilities /h3ulliRepresent Avio Aero in the Propulsion System Programme Schedule Working Group /liliWhen necessary, communicate with Customer working-level interfaces on consortium matters, upon agreement with partners /liliEnsure that information is reliably shared back within the represented group /liliSupport specific meetings with final end user, as needed /liliCommunicate with other Propulsion System working groups on consortium matters, upon agreement with working group partners /liliEnsure that information is reliably shared within the represented group /liliReport to Avio Aero management on Propulsion System Integrated Schedule Working Group progress and elevate issues to support timely resolution /liliProvide timely Avio Aero inputs to the Propulsion System Integrated Working Group in strict coordination with relevant Avio Aero internal stakeholders /liliTake responsibility, as an Avio Aero member, for Propulsion System Integrated Working Group outcomes and deliverables /liliSupport preparation of Executive Leadership Forum discussions by developing relevant materials /liliSupport preparation of key milestones and reports for the Integrated Schedule Working Group /liliSupport the Avio Aero programme Weekly Operating Rhythm (WOR) and Monthly Operating Rhythm (MOR)
/liliOwn Avio Aero Gantt project scheduling in coordination with Avio Aero programme managers and all relevant stakeholders /liliSupport activities of other working groups relevant to the PMO Leader Deputy, in coordination with Avio Aero working group representatives /li /ulh3Required Qualifications /h3ulliMaster’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering /liliPrevious solid experience in project management /liliStrong knowledge of Microsoft Project or equivalent planning tools /liliGood knowledge of the aerospace industry and understanding of the defense environment /liliEffective communication skills, with the ability to highlight critical issues at the appropriate level and with a sense of urgency /liliSolid risk management and problem-solving skills /liliAbility to work in and influence a cross-functional team in a matrix organization /liliAbility to document, plan, and execute established projects, with strong management skills /liliProven interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels of internal and external customer organizations, including top management /liliAvailability to relocate to the UK /liliAvailability to travel as needed to support the business /liliItalian citizenship /liliFluent written and spoken English /liliEligibility to obtain security clearance from the Italian National Security Authority (security concerns that may lead to ineligibility are listed in Art. 37, DPCM 6 November 2015, n.5) /li /ulh3Desired Qualifications /h3ulliPrevious experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) /liliAbility to respond quickly to and manage change /liliKnowledge of company processes and organization /liliCommitment, autonomy, and self-drive /li /ulh3Why Join Us /h3pAt Avio Aero,
