The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from statistical analysis of maintenance dataflow to deep train knowledge. And that’s where you come in. /p h3Accountabilities /h3 ul liAssure the RAM data collection in the service operation of the vehicles, defining the data records structure according to the Contractual requirements /li liWith support of the System Support Engineering, assure a detailed Vehicle Management and control of changes to the vehicle / product configuration, ensuring the correct traceability of the status of each vehicle creating the as Maintained Configuration /li liManage infrastructure based systems (MRX, PanMon, Gotcha etc.) to ensure any notifications or maintenance alerts are received, and develop means of using this data to support condition based maintenance. /li liProvide performance analysis and recommendations for improvements for both, internal and external stakeholders relating to engineering support IT systems /li liAssure the support to Bid Proposal defining the budget for any new bidding initiative /li liUpdating of spare par lists issued by the Bid Proposal and detailed by the Mobilization Engineering according to the maintenance plan and the RAM analyses and the service operation experience /li liConducting level of repair analysis (LORA) to define efficient and cost effective corrective maintenance, also providing feedbacks to Rolling Stock Design Engineering and Standards Training for standards modifications /li liSupport to maintenance operations, troubleshooting and management of maintenance activities, analysing any technical issue and suggesting the necessary corrective action according to the System Support Engineering indication /li liPrepare the technical specification for any depot tool, interfacing with the suppliers, arranging the design review, coordinating the installation,



the test and the commissioning with the support of Operations /li liWith the support of Standard Training, provide training to team members and customer if required /li liRealize failure analysis for extrawarranty (both vs. customer and supplier) /li liManage warranties with suppliers /li liValidate the Maintenance Manual and propose modification upgrades. /li liDevelop continuous improvement of maintenance activities by proposing newly designed tools /li liKnowledge in vehicle remote diagnostics and validation of data /li liResponsible for reporting maintenance and safety defects, operational events and failures. /li liResponsible to present operating data returning from the exercise (RAM data) to the Customer. /li liTechnical documentation development for workshop in relation to maintenance operations, based on the maintenance plan, complying with safety requirements. /li liIn charge of ensuring the implementation of maintenance plans at depot level and in the external sites, from the commissioning phase /li liResponsible for supporting Project Team activities through on-field analyses. This includes: /li ul liSupporting Standards Training in engineering procedures and practices development /li liOptimizing the execution of maintenance regimes and assisting Maintenance Optimization in the development of optimized maintenance practices in support of current and future contracts /li liperforming small modifications on components and hardware, related to materials or processes /li /ul liIn charge of supporting all the Operations delivery continuous improvement programs - through the collection and management of operating data applying return of experience process from operation - to ensure contractual requirements are achieved and exceeded /li liResponsible for ensuring support to Procurement and Operations during the assessment and approval of new / second source suppliers, so that engineering and quality needs are adequately identified and addressed /li liResponsible for supporting Quality control function in reporting component or train failures,



also assessing component reparability and related safety risk /li /ul h3Required Skills/ Knowledge /h3 ul liAt least 1 years of experience to perform the aforementioned accountabilities as dictated in section above /li liPrevious work in railway maintenance sector, with particular focus on maintenance plan optimization, complex troubleshooting and RAMS analysis /li liWilling to take on big challenges with large-scale Regional projects /li liAble to perform vehicle system diagnosis and analysis /li liAbility to interpret contract specification /li liAbility to read, understand and interpret drawing, schematics and pneumatics plan /li liAvailability to short trip, typically lasting some days, for mostly of time (i.e., more than 60%) /li /ul h3Desired Skills/ Knowledge /h3 ul liPrevious experience in Maintenance Field engineering on railway fleets /li liBasic working knowledge of Rail Train Subsystem such as Automatic Train Supervision, Vehicle, Telecommunication, STB, Pneumatic brake, traction converter, high voltage gear, HVAC, etc. /li liKnowledge and ability to review maintenance documentation from sub-suppliers /li liBasic understanding of software configuration managements (CM) /li liKnowledge and experience in wheel set parameters. /li liBasic working knowledge of statistical analysis program /li liOperation and Maintenance Processes /li liPrevious experience on ECM projects and Homologation planning /li liRailway Operations and Signaling principles /li liSAP environment knowledge /li liPlanning and organization /li liSpare part analysis, definition and forecast setup according to return of experience /li liDesign to maintain and continuous improvement willingness and attitude /li liUsed to work in industrial environments (i.e. warehouse, rolling stock depots) /li /ul h3Education / Qualifications /h3 pElectrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic Degree or equivalent technical background. /p h3Languages /h3 pEnglish Proficiency /p p“Alla posizione si applica il vigente CCNL per l’industria metalmeccanica privata e l’installazione di impianti, con inquadramento nel livello B1, ai sensi della relativa disciplina di classificazione del personale.” /p pProponiamo una retribuzione annua lorda compresa tra 33.000 € e 38.000 €. /p pAt Hitachi Rail, there is a place for everyone.
