Location: Remote from Europe
Reporting to: DevOps Lead
Your Mission
* Set up, implement, and support the technological solutions that keep systems
running smoothly and securely.
* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that power the production deploys, keeping
releases fast and reliable.
* Develop and continuously improve the monitoring and alerting systems, so
issues get caught before they become problems.
* Create and maintain "infrastructure as code" configurations to manage the
cloud environments on AWS and Cloudflare.
* Implement methodologies and procedures that make the systems resilient,
capable of recovering automatically from failure with minimal to no manual
intervention.
* Act as a key point of communication across departments, bridging engineering
with the rest of the organization.
What Makes You a Fit
* 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience, ideally with at least one
Associate-level AWS certification.
* Solid experience in infrastructure, database, and network administration for
highly available, scalable applications.
* Strong knowledge of Linux System Administration and Bash scripting.
* Proven experience with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and AWS Serverless
technologies.
* Familiarity with web services, APIs, and RESTful architecture.
* A solid grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks.
* Experience managing cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform.
* Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
* Familiarity with the open-source monitoring stack, particularly Grafana.
* A development background, with experience in Python, Node.js, and Nginx
configuration.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for tracing issues
back to root cause.
