THE ROLE





You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where junior and senior scientists collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal.

The team’s research focuses on locomotion over rough terrain, foothold planning, whole-body control, perception, loco-manipulation, machine learning, as well as the development of the next generation quadruped robots.

For this position, we are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Senior Mechanical Engineer for Space Robotics and Teleoperation.

Within the research team, your main responsibilities will be:
- Design and development of mechanical parts for robots and equipment.
- Continuous improvement of robot performance and robustness, analyzing test reports
- Robot maintenance, testing, and assembly of new mechanical parts.
- Integrate with the team of technicians supporting day
