Overview
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and experienced Intake Specialist to support a U.S.-based criminal law firm with inbound and outbound calls, lead follow-ups, client intake, case processing, and legal administrative support.

This role requires strong English and Spanish communication skills, a minimal accent, and prior legal experience. Criminal law experience is strongly preferred because the firm is looking for someone who can ramp up quickly. Candidates with other law firm or legal support experience may also be considered.

The ideal candidate is a hard worker, team player, and someone who is happy to support a collaborative legal team in a fast-paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities




• Answer inbound calls and communicate with prospective and current clients professionally
• Input leads and client information accurately into MyCase
• Conduct client intake and gather relevant case details
• Follow up with leads and prospective clients as needed
• Support traffic, criminal, and DUI client processing tasks
• Open and update MyCase files with accurate client and case information
• Send fee agreements, waivers, acknowledgments, and other client documents as needed
• Assist with e-filing notices, discovery, pleas, waivers, and related case documents
• Check clerk sites for notices of hearing and case activity reports
• Update the MyCase calendar with court hearings and case deadlines
• Send calendar updates, dispositions, and case-related information to the appropriate team members or clients
• Help close out MyCase files when cases are completed
