Scope and Purpose
The Area Sales Manager acts as a Brand Ambassador, delivering a professional and memorable experience to clients in assigned territories. You will be responsible for creating and maximizing sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets for Belmond properties in Italy and Spain, focusing on developing high-value relationships within international markets to be defined.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and account management plans to achieve revenue goals and acquire new business across diverse segments.
- Establish and nurture deep partnerships with key decision-makers, bookers, and influencers within all assigned accounts to ensure long-term loyalty.
- Proactively qualify leads and lead closing efforts by utilizing advanced selling and negotiation tools to maximize conversion ratios.
- Work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and the Special Events Sales Office (SESO) to align sales actions with divisional strategies.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, missions, and industry functions, while hosting high-impact client events and educational trips.
- Deliver regular product training and high-level presentations to ensure the portfolio remains front-of-mind for global partners.
- Conduct strategic market analysis using Power BI and CRM tools to evaluate productivity and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Prepare reports to Management on properties and clients performance.
- Be available to travel, plan and execute business travels such as sales missions, trade shows and other business commitments on behalf of Belmond Italy & Spain.
