Collier County is seeking an experienced and people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead our Talent Acquisition Team. This position plays a key leadership role within the Human Resources Division and is responsible for overseeing county-wide recruitment, selection, and hiring programs while supporting our goal of attracting and hiring talented individuals to serve our community.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative HR leader who understands that successful recruitment is more than filling vacancies. This role works closely with hiring managers, Division Directors, County leadership, and the HR team to develop practical recruitment strategies, improve the candidate and hiring manager experience,



and ensure hiring practices are consistent, efficient, and compliant.

Essential Functions
- Lead, coach, and develop the Talent Acquisition team.
- Oversee county-wide recruitment, selection, and hiring activities.
- Partner with hiring managers and Division leadership to develop recruitment strategies for current and future staffing needs.
- Oversee job postings, candidate screening, interviews, selections, offers, and pre-employment requirements.
- Develop innovative recruitment strategies for high-volume, specialized, and difficult-to-fill positions.
- Ensure hiring practices comply with County policies and applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee background checks, drug screenings, physicals, fingerprinting, education verification, and other pre-employment processes.
- Manage the County’s applicant tracking system and related recruitment contracts and processes.
